Business launch planning checklist
Turn an idea into a reviewable plan. Mark the work you have documented, then save the remaining tasks with your evidence notes.
Use evidence, not just ticks
A checked task means you have documented the work described. It does not mean the result is correct, legally sufficient or commercially validated. Keep a source, date and owner for assumptions that materially affect your plan. Tasks can be reopened when new evidence changes the decision.
Example of a useful record
Instead of writing “budget done,” record which supplier quotes you used, when recurring costs start, and which costs remain uncertain. Instead of “demand validated,” record how many relevant people you spoke with, what they said and whether anyone actually committed to buying. Distinguish interest from purchases.
Choose the next small test
Work first on the assumption that could invalidate the plan. That might be delivery cost, customer need, a required qualification or the ability to reach buyers. A small documented test can answer that question before you make larger commitments. This checklist deliberately does not prescribe a universal launch date or spend level.
Does completing every task mean I am ready to launch?
No. The checklist organizes planning work. Your industry, location, obligations and delivery risks may require additional review.
Will the site remember my checklist?
No. Your state stays in this page. Download the record or print it before you close or reload the tab.
